# Muvo > Muvo is a Spanish company that builds a web platform for multilingual audio guides. Museums, schools, monuments, councils, galleries and heritage sites write the commentary for each piece in their own words; Muvo voices it with AI at professional-narrator quality (or the team records it in Muvo's browser narration studio), translates it into the languages they need, and visitors listen on their own phone by scanning a QR code: no app, no account and no rented devices. Spaces can also close their guide with 6-digit access codes and sell them with the ticket, turning the audio guide into a revenue line. Muvo is a company from Spain, designed, built and operated in Spain, and serves cultural spaces across Europe. Website: https://www.muvo.es/en (English) and https://www.muvo.es/es (Spanish). Contact: hola@muvo.es. Founder: Miquel Gomis (https://www.miquelgomis.es). ## The problem Muvo solves - Traditional audio guides need devices that must be bought, charged, cleaned and lent out, plus professional recordings for every language. - Small and medium spaces (local museums, schools, churches, visitor centres) rarely have the budget or the technical staff for them. - Changing one sentence of a traditional guide means recording the whole track again. ## How it works 1. **Write your content.** The space writes or pastes the text of each piece (an artwork, a room, a building, a stop on a route). The text is the space's own: the AI does not invent content. 2. **Generate the voice or record it.** One click produces a natural AI voice for every paragraph, with several voices and regional accents per language. Teams that prefer a human voice record it in the browser with a teleprompter; Muvo cleans the noise, levels the volume, trims silences and syncs the text. Recorded audio is never replaced by AI. 3. **Translate.** AI translation into every language the space needs, keeping its tone and terms; the team reviews it side by side with the original, or translates by hand. 4. **Print the QR codes and publish.** Every piece, every tour and the whole space get a QR code, with print-ready labels and A4 sheets. Visitors scan with their camera and the guide opens in their phone's language. Because audio is generated per paragraph (up to 800 characters each), fixing a sentence only regenerates that part, and visitors keep hearing the published version until the new one is published. ## Who it is for - **Museums and collections:** permanent collections and themed tours in several languages. - **Schools:** students write and narrate the guide to an exhibition or their neighbourhood, published with a QR code. - **Monuments, castles, churches and historic houses:** a QR code in every room, tower or chapel. - **Councils and tourism:** city walks and visitor centres with a QR code at every stop. - **Archaeological sites, gardens and natural areas:** outdoor stops explained on the visitor's own phone. - **Temporary exhibitions and galleries:** set up in an afternoon, taken down the day the show closes. ## The visitor experience - Opens in the phone's browser; nothing to install, no sign-up, no cookies for open guides. - The player interface (buttons and labels, not the commentary) comes in 12 languages: Spanish, Catalan, Basque, Galician, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese and Dutch. It picks the phone's language automatically and falls back to the space's main language with a discreet notice; Catalan and Valencian stand in for each other. - One continuous track per piece with the text highlighted as it plays, speed control, larger text, high contrast and a serif reading option, lock-screen controls, a screen that stays on while listening and optional background music. - Tours with ordered stops and an automatic «next», a list of every piece, «go to number» and a built-in QR scanner. - An enriched page per piece with images, video, PDFs and links. - The whole player weighs under 200 KB and opens in seconds on a mobile connection. ## Languages: three different things "Languages" means three separate things in Muvo, and they should not be confused: 1. **The dashboard and website language** (where the space's team writes, records and manages): Spanish, English and French. The public website, the dashboard and the transactional emails come in these three. Legal texts, the Help Center and job openings are in English only. 2. **The visitor player interface** (the buttons and labels the visitor sees on their phone): 12 languages — Spanish, Catalan, Basque, Galician, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese and Dutch. 3. **The content languages** (the languages each audio guide can be translated into and voiced in, with AI or by the team): 38 languages and regional variants today, and the list keeps growing. A guide can be published in a language whose player interface is not among the 12; the player then shows its buttons in English while the commentary plays in the visitor's language. ## Content languages and accents Content can be voiced and translated into 38 languages and regional variants, for example: - Español: España, México, Colombia, Argentina, Estados Unidos - Català: Catalunya, Valencià - Euskara: Euskara - Galego: Galego - English: United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Ireland - Français: France, Canada, Belgique - Deutsch: Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz - Italiano: Italia - Português: Portugal, Brasil - Nederlands: Nederland, België - Polski: Polski - Русский: Русский - Українська: Українська - Svenska: Svenska ## Paid audio guides with access codes - The space closes its guide; each visitor then needs a 6-digit code that the space hands out with the ticket, printed or on a receipt. - The space sets the price and collects it at its own desk or ticketing system. **Muvo charges no commission per sale**: Muvo provides the platform, the codes and the infrastructure. - Each code opens the guide for the time the space chooses, on up to two phones; codes expire 12 months after issue by default; failed attempts are rate-limited. - Codes are downloaded as PDF sheets to cut out, as CSV for ticketing systems, or printed on thermal ticket printers (58 or 80 mm). - Included codes: see the plans below; on the free plan each code costs €0.50. ## Pricing - **Zero** (free, no card and no time limit; VAT excluded): 10 AI credits on sign-up; 60 unique visitors a month; 10 pieces; 1 tours; 3 active languages; 1 team members; access codes bought as needed; Muvo branding in the player. - **Premium** (€99 a month or €999 a year; VAT excluded): 750 AI credits every month; 500 unique visitors a month; unlimited pieces; unlimited tours; unlimited active languages; 5 team members; 250 access codes a month included; fully white-label player. - **Ultra** (€3,999 a year; VAT excluded): 1,500 AI credits every month; 20,000 unique visitors a year; unlimited pieces; unlimited tours; unlimited active languages; 20 team members; unlimited access codes; fully white-label player. - **Credits:** 1 credit = 1 paragraph voiced with AI (1 credit) or 1 paragraph translated into one language (1 credit). No. They scan the QR code with their phone camera and the guide opens in the browser, in their language. No sign-up, nothing to install. ### What do the voices sound like? Can I use my own? Like a professional narrator: we use the most advanced AI voice models, with several voices and accents per language. If you'd rather use a human voice, narrate in the browser with our teleprompter studio; we clean up and prepare the audio. Recording costs no credits, and Muvo never replaces a recording with an AI voice. ### What is a credit? It's what pays for the AI: voicing one paragraph, or translating one paragraph into one language, costs one credit. Writing, recording, editing, reordering and publishing are free, and you always see the cost before you confirm. ### What happens if I change a published text? Only the paragraph you change is regenerated. The rest of the audio stays as it is, and visitors keep hearing the published version until you publish the new one. ### Which languages can I translate into? All the ones you need: AI translation keeps your texts faithful, and your team can review it next to the original or translate by hand. The player speaks Spanish, Catalan, Basque, Galician, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese and Dutch. Zero allows 3 active languages; Premium and Ultra, all of them. ### Can I control who listens to the guide? Yes. In closed mode each visitor needs a 6-digit code that you hand out at the desk or with the ticket. Each code gives access for as long as you decide, on up to two phones. ### What data do you keep about visitors? Nothing personal. The player uses no cookies for open guides and asks for no account; statistics are anonymous and counted with a random identifier that changes every day. ### Is there a minimum term? No. Cancel monthly Premium whenever you like and you'll move back to Zero at the end of the period. Nothing is deleted or unpublished. ## Key pages - [Home](https://www.muvo.es/en): what Muvo is, how it works and a live demo with the real player. - [What is Muvo](https://www.muvo.es/en/what-is-muvo): capabilities in detail and why Muvo is different. - [Pricing](https://www.muvo.es/en/pricing): plans, credits, credit packs and calculator. - [Help Center](https://www.muvo.es/en/help): step-by-step guides. - [Contact](https://www.muvo.es/en/contact) - [Careers](https://www.muvo.es/en/careers) ## Help Center articles - [Create your space and publish your first audio guide](https://www.muvo.es/en/help/create-your-space) (Getting started): Sign up, create your space and have your first artwork playing on a phone in about ten minutes, with no card and no technical skills. - [How credits work](https://www.muvo.es/en/help/how-credits-work) (Plans, credits and billing): Understand what costs credits and what is free, which credits expire, the order they are spent in and how to buy more when you run low. - [Generate the AI voice of your texts](https://www.muvo.es/en/help/generate-ai-voice) (Audio and voice): Turn your paragraphs into natural speech with the AI voice, see the cost before confirming and regenerate only the paragraphs that changed. - [Record your own voice](https://www.muvo.es/en/help/record-your-own-voice) (Audio and voice): Record the narration paragraph by paragraph in the browser, edit each take or upload an existing audio, all without spending a single credit. - [Print QR labels for your artworks](https://www.muvo.es/en/help/print-qr-labels) (QR codes and printing): Download the QR codes of your artworks, tours and space, design a label template and print sheets that every phone can scan. - [Close your audio guide with access codes](https://www.muvo.es/en/help/closed-mode-access-codes) (Visitors and access): Switch to closed mode so each visitor needs a 6-digit code, get or buy codes for your plan and print them as A4 sheets or thermal tickets. ## Legal - [Legal notice](https://www.muvo.es/en/legal/legal-notice) · [Privacy](https://www.muvo.es/en/legal/privacy) · [Cookies](https://www.muvo.es/en/legal/cookies) · [Terms for spaces](https://www.muvo.es/en/legal/terms) · [Purchase terms for visitors](https://www.muvo.es/en/legal/purchase-terms) · [Data processing agreement](https://www.muvo.es/en/legal/dpa) ## Optional - Spanish version of the website: https://www.muvo.es/es - Sitemap: https://www.muvo.es/sitemap.xml
